Known only to a small crew of local divers and fisherman Beach 8th street is a nest of ever changing wonder and beauty located at the end of a dead end street in Far Rockaway, Queens. Dives can only be made at certain times of the day because of strong currents. Often the visibility is as little as a foot. Getting tangled in fishing lines is not uncommon. Few appreciate what lies beneaththe surface.
